Saturday, March 18 is a big day of racing at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The race card has 11 races including three stakes. The Azeri is a Grade II Stakes for fillies and mares four year olds & up with a purse of $350,000. The Essex is a Handicap Stakes for 4 year olds & up worth $250,000. Finally, the Rebel is Grade II Stakes for 3 year olds worth $900,000. Horses in the Rebel Stakes can earn Qualifying Points on the Road to the Kentucky Derby.
