The table below gives what I like to call my "Smashwords Finds." I have become an tremendous fan and advocate of what Smashwords is doing to the publishing world. Most of the authors below provide at least one free book in order to hook you into their stories. As an example of the opportunities of the really good writing available at Smashwords, I point to the two books by Edward C. Patterson. I probably would not have ventured into his writings without his organization of Operation eBookdrop. It is a fantastic cause, and Ed gave me two of his books as a thank you. I highly recommend "The Road to Grafenwohr" for fans of contemporary fantasy novels.
Adam and I participate in Operation eBookdrop with our book, "Saturday Morning Wake-Up Call." By the way, you can get "Saturday Morning Wake-Up Call" for only $0.99.
NOTE: A free book that gets 4.0 stars or greater review gets the author something for entertaining me - I will buy the next book in a series (or another book by the author) at some point. The book has to earn 3.0 stars or better to get included on this page.
